Tuesday 20 December 2016 at 19:00 the 40th anniversary of the Italian Davis Cup will be celebrated in the Gran Guardia Conference Room. You are all invited to participate in this celebration of Italian tennis!

The demonstration, promoted by the Municipality of Verona and by the Councilor for Sport Alberto Bozza will see the participation of Paolo Bertolucci, former Davis tennis player, by Emilio Barbarani, of the Italian Embassy in Chile in Pinochet's Santiago (our opponent in the final… not Pinochet, Chile), and Lorenzo Fabiano, author of the book “Coppa Davis 1976 an Italian story”.

The Verona Tennis Association and the Scaligero Tennis Club are sponsors of the event, which no enthusiast can miss: this is the highest peak ever reached by Italian team tennis, of a moment in our sport - probably. unrepeatable, of athletes who have upheld the good name of our country and represented our country in the world.
